Handmade and bespoke English yew and midnight blue epoxy resin 'river' coffee / side or end table. 26mm thick top with 85mm square solid European oak legs which feature 3No solid yew spline details to the outer corners of each leg. Traditional apron rails below table top attached to legs using solid mortise and tenon joints. Designed and manufactured by Jake Barker design.
Timber and resin finished in a satin finish and finished on all sides and faces. The top edges and outer corner to the legs have a small round over detail applied. The top is attached to the base via M5 bolts and threaded inserts and features a unique shadow gap detail to lift the top above the legs. Base sits directly onto the floor, if felt pads or silicone pads are required, please let us know.
The epoxy resin colour has been bespoke formulated using blues and purple pigments to add interest and detail. Therefore in different lights it will show different colours and details. Naturally occurring imperfections, knots and cracks in the top were permanently filled with matching resin.

This item is made from solid English Yew and European oak which has been properly seasoned and kiln dried. Finished with Rubio Monocoat's unique hard wax oil to protect and enhance the timber for years to come. Maintenance, care instructions and cleaning guidance and advice will be provided with all furniture orders. The top has been finished with Rubio pure for a natural colour look and the base has been finished in charcoal to add interest.
